Capone N Noreaga 'T.O.N.Y' (DJ Step One blend)
I haven't posted a blend for a while so here's one I did using the acapella of CNN's 'T.O.N.Y' and the instrumental of Dilated Peoples 'Work The Angles'.
As a bonus, here's the DJ Clue remix
Apologies for the lack of updates recently. A combination of going abroad, being ill and life in general has slowed me down a bit. Hopefully I'll have a bit more time to rip some tapes over the next few weeks.

Roc Raida on Hot 97 (1994)
I'm sure by now you're all aware that the legendary DJ Roc Raida passed away this weekend. Here's the man ripping it up on Funkmaster Flex's Hot 97 show back in 1994.

Raekwon - Future Flavas freestyle
Nice Raekwon freestyle for Marley Marl and Pete Rock's show back in the day...
I cant really say anything about the new Raekwon album that hasnt already been said elsewhere. Its alot better than I ever expected it to be and I even went and bought a copy despite downloading it when it first leaked.
The fact that 'Blueprint 3' is a horrendous mess makes it sound even better.

Group Home freestyle on WKCR (1995)
This is taken from a tape of Stretch Armstrong & Bobbito's legendary show on WKCR.
In the studio to promote their debut album, Group Home drop something over Kool G Rap's 'For Da Brothaz' instrumental before they're joined by their crew Brainsick Mob (including Smiley Da Ghetto Child) who go off over the 'Broken Language' beat.
DOWNLOAD PART 1
DOWNLOAD PART 2
That'll be it until next week as I'm off to Ibiza tommorow for a few hard earned days in the sun.

Shortee Blitz & Big Ted - Kiss FM (1999)
Here's another dope Chubby Kids show from Kiss FM. Hard to believe this is 10 years old! Shortee goes in with some Pete Rock, Black Moon, Nas, Medina Green, Inspectah Deck and more.
UPDATE 24/01/18 - now available to stream/DL on the Hip Hop Radio Archive
Shout out to Big Ted who hit me up following the previous show I posted. Hopefully he'll be coming through with some treats in the near future. Get up in that loft mate!
You can catch him doing his thing every friday night on Colourful Radio. Several of the original Kiss DJs are on there aswell so if you were a listener back in the day check it out.
