Updates have been a bit thin on the ground recently as I've been busy with radio stuff, plus the summer has kicked in here in the UK so I havent really had the opportunity to rip any more tapes. As I dont want this site to just consist of mixcloud links to my shows, I thought I'd post up a couple of blends for you...

Funkmaster Flex & Tim Westwood with Craig Mack, Biggie & Puff Daddy (1994)

I think this was the first time Westwood & Flex linked up for their monthly 'Rap Exchange', where Tim would go to the US and host his show from Hot 97. This is from August 1994, when 'Flava In Ya Ear' was the biggest record in NYC and Craig Mack, Puffy and Biggie are in the studio for a freestyle session that would later appear on the b-side of Flex's 'Nuttin But Flava' single.

This was the first time I've pre-recorded the show, thanks to Budweiser's demands that the FA Cup's traditional kick-off time of 3pm be moved to 5.15pm to accomodate our friends in the US (although the favour is never returned for Boxing, the Superbowl etc). Also, I know Liverpool played like shit for the first hour but THAT WAS OVER THE FUCKING LINE!!!

Anyway, my show clashed with the game so as you get 2 hours of uninterrupted music this week I thought I'd make this one available for download.
