DJ Step One '97:99' mix

Here's a mix I knocked up the other day after I went through the 97-99 era selection and pulled out a few old favourites. There's some big tracks here alongside some lesser known ones and a few blends chucked in for good measure. Enjoy!

Show & AG ft Krs One & Big Pun 'Drop It Heavy'
The Firm 'Phone Tap'
Sauce Money ft Jay Z 'Pre Game'
Mic Geronimo ft DMX, The LOX, Ja Rule & Tragedy 'The Usual Suspects'
CNN, Nas & Tragedy 'Calm Down'
Pete Rock & Inspectah Deck 'Tru Master'(blend)
Nas 'Nas Is Like'(blend)
Pharoahe Monch 'Queens'
L Swift & A Butta 'Ride This'
Tommy Tee ft Pete Rock, AG, Mike Zoot & Large Pro 'World Reknown'
Beatnuts ft Method Man 'Se Acabo' (remix)
Black Moon ft Q Tip 'Showdown'
Screwball 'H.O.S.T.Y.L.E'
Jay Z 'So Ghetto'
LL Cool J ft Redman, Method Man, DMX & Master P '4,3,2,1' (blend)

  1. Kudos on the Calm Down and Pre-Game selections in particular.

Only thing this is missing is smothing by Godfather Don from that era like Piece Of The Action, Seeds Of Hate or The Bomb, Baby. Seriously some of my favourite tunes from that period.
