London Posse - Capital Rap Show freestyles (1992)

Not one but two London Posse freestyles from Westwood's show in '92. The first one above you may have heard before as it has appeared online in the past. It's the one with Rodders and Bionic going off over the remixes of Its A Boy and Shut Em Down and Check The Rhime. Classic material as you would expect.
The second one hasn't been shared before as far as I know and sees the duo doing their thing over Scenario and Uptown Anthem for 8 minutes,although that includes the odd false start Bionic decides to censor himself.

London Posse live in London (1991)

UK dons Rodney P and Bionic performing Gangster Chronicle, Live Like The Other Half Do and Jump Around at Westwood's Live To London jam at The Arches in Vauxhall, which was broadcast on Capital FM, hence the "censored version, seen?!".

Not much UK rap from the 80s and 90s has aged particularly well imo but all the London Posse stuff still holds it's own. Shame we never got that 2nd album around the time How's Life In London came out.

London Posse on Kiss FM (1993)

Following my London Posse post last month (which proved quite popular), here's Rodney P & Bionic on Kiss FM, promoting the release of their new EP.
Kiss had only been a legal station for a couple of years at this point and the Wednesday night Rap show was hosted by Max LX & Dave VJ. Tracks off the EP are played during the interview and its finished off with a wicked freestyle over Lords Of The Underground's 'Funky Child' instrumental.

Massive big up and thanks to Mr Lawson for coming through and hooking me up with the tape of this. All I had was a really bad quality copy of the freestyle and seeing as it was something I played to death back then I'm loving having a decent MP3 of it!

Although I was a regular listener I dont have any full tapes of Max N Dave's shows (I was young and didnt have money for new TDKs every week so I just taped the tracks I liked). If anyone out there has some they want to share get in touch.
