A brief appearance from CL Smooth on the first Future Flavas show hosted by Pete Rock and Marley Marl. CL drops a verse from Carmel City over the Brooklyn Zoo instrumental. Short and sweet, but good enough to warrant uploading.

Before Pete Rock and Marley Marl made the Future Flavas show famous, it was hosted by KRS One (yeah I thought that was a bit weird too). Here's 40 minutes from a tape Tobes gave me a while back. Method Man, Bootcamp Click, Keith Murray, Death Camp and Mad Lion all feature.

Another one out of Tobes' stash. Future Flavas tapes are relatively scarce and always full of heat, in this case Real Live, Group Home, Heltah Skeltah, Sadat X amongst others.

I don't usually do tracklists as I listen to most things while I'm driving and can't write stuff down. This tape had the info on the inlay card which made things easier...

I've been trying to find out some info on this on and off for a while now. The last bout of investigation came up short so I thought (at bad-cop's suggestion) I'd call it a Future Flavas exclusive and be done with it. Taken from a Marley Marl guest mix on Westwood's show in 1998, its a rather random collaboration between Heather B, All City and Sauce Money (who always makes a track worth listening to)

I cant really say anything about the new Raekwon album that hasnt already been said elsewhere. Its alot better than I ever expected it to be and I even went and bought a copy despite downloading it when it first leaked.
The fact that 'Blueprint 3' is a horrendous mess makes it sound even better.

Seeing as the last one proved quite popular, here's another Future Flavas session, this time from early 1996.
Its only 30 minutes, especially unfortunate when you hear them say what they played before this tape was recording – anybody out there with the full show get in touch!
Anyway, its still as good as you’d expect; did they ever play any wack tunes?!.
Pete Rock drops some Omniscence, Large Pro, Bahamadia, Real Live, Group Home, Cypress Hill (the dope Q-Tip remix of ‘Illusions’), INI, Jamal and a few others.
