Radio 1 Rap Show 19.03.99 - New York Live with Jeru, Black Moon, DJ S&S and Truck Turner

Even though I didn't catch many of them at the time, I'm starting to think that Westwood's New York Live shows with Marley are better than his Rap Exchange shows with Flex. DJ S&S is on the 1210s for a bit and all the guests drop freestyles on this one, with Craig G stepping up to rhyme alongside Truck Turner and Jeru. Pete Rock and TJ Swann are also in the studio. I imagine the #bantz was in full flow.

Tracey Lee ft Black Rob, Buckshot, Kurupt & Madd Rapper 'Evo 3000' (1999)

I only discovered this track recently when I found it on a bootleg 12" I picked up whilst out digging the other week. No hook, a heavyweight line up, and definitely typical of the posse cuts that were ubiquitous on albums and mixtapes around the turn of the century.
After reaching out to Tracey Lee he confirmed it's from his unreleased album 'Live From The 215'. I don't recall seeing it online before so here you go...

Ron G - Flava Beyond Flava Vol 4 (1996)

Obscure 12" time now. Here's 4 blends from mixtape legend Ron G. First up is Mobb Deep over 'The Message' (or Puff & Mase 'Cant Hold Me Down'), followed by a 'jackin for beats' style mix of '1nce Again' using old ATCQ instrumentals. The Buju Banton track is cool but I can't place the beat right now, and finishing things up is Ron's infamous blend of the 'My Melody' instrumental with verses from KRS, Buckshot, Raekwon and Nas.
