Chuck D & House Of Pain - Westwood dubplates (1992)
Chuckie D and Everlast going off dancehall style and fashion for Tim over the Bam Bam riddim (Murder She Wrote). Sounds weird right? Seems like this was recorded as 2 seperate sessions rather than at the same time but on the tape I have they're played back to back. Shame Tim had pretty much phased these type of things out by the time he got to Radio 1.

Radio 1 Rap Show 13.05.00
with Doug E Fresh, Rahzel & Chuck D
The first thing to say about this show is there's a ton a of legit bangers. Big Pimpin, Whoa, Bling Bling, Quiet Storm (with P re-doing it dubplate special style for Tim) and about half of Dre's 2001 album. 99-2000 was a good time for rap songs that worked in the club without being corny. There's also a few backstage interviews with some wrestlers at a WWE event in the UK. Couldn't tell you much about that as I'd stopped watching it by then.
Part 2 (below) is a repeat of a show from July 1999 with Doug E Fresh, Rahzel and Chuck D in the studio...

Busta Rhymes, Common & Rampage
Kiss FM freestyle (1997)
I've had a few people come through donations for the site recently. First up is this one from boom-bap champion Milkcrate Kid. A ten minute Busta Rhymes, Common & Rampage freestyle on Max & Dave's Kiss FM show from 1997
Always thought Rampage was pretty dope. Wild For The Night was a banger. Like the rest of the Flipmode he never really managed to escape Busta's shadow though.
*BONUS* - also courtesy of MCK, Chuck D & Hyenas From The Desert on Max & Dave's show from 1996 GO HERE
If you'e got any old tapes stashed away that you think will be of interest get in touch.

Tim Westwood with Chuck D (continued)
I found the second tape of the show posted below. Tim & Chuck speak on Public Enemy, Flavor Flav and the current state of rap (Chuck loves Mack 10) while continuing The Top 10 at Ten. I now remember this show from back in the day as it was the first time I heard 'I Got 5 On It'...

Tim Westwood - Radio 1 Rap Show (1995)
Ah, the summer of 1995. To quote RZA, "everything was lovely". Tim kicks off this show with the first play of 'MCs Act Like They Dont Know' and follows it with some Das EFX, Wu Tang, Kool G Rap and Rakim, plus a KRS One freestyle and a bit of BDP live from 1988. After a few R&B joints at the start of side 2, he's joined in the studio with Chuck D for chat while they count down the Top 10 At Ten...
