Doo Wop - 15.09.94 (Part 3)

By popular demand (seriously!), I've finally got round to ripping the rest of this tape.
Following the blends and old school on Side A, here's the 'new' part of the tape that made up the B side. I'll post up the tracklist in the comments section.

I've actually cut the first part off. Its the Bounce Squad performing live somewhere but the sound is fucked so its basically 15 minutes of them shouting, dissing the soundman and occasionally rhyming. Quality on it isnt great but I'm gonna try and salvage the Snagglepuss freestyle.

I'm trying out mediafire as a replacement for zShare. Let me know if there's any issues.

Good interview with DJ Riz by 7L HERE. He's also blessed you with the legendary mix Riz did for Tim Westwood back in 94.

Saxon Sound live in Brooklyn (1993)

Thought I'd go with something a bit different today as I've been listening to alot of reggae for the last week or so. I used to be quite into it but lost touch a few years back.
Then a friend recently sent me a DVD of last year's UK Cup Clash and I've been pulling out some of my old 12"s and tapes looking for certain tunes. This particular tape is of the UK's mighty Saxon Sound performing live in Brooklyn back in 1993...

Nas 'One Love' (Lights Out remix)

I was sorting out my CDs the other day and came across a copy of this Nas mix by Lights Out Productions. Its a decent selection of remixes and non-album tracks but the standout for me was this jacking-for-beats style mix of 'One Love'.

I know its one of the most blended acapellas ever but the way they've used a load of classic beats (in chronological order no less) makes this one a bit better than the rest.

Jazzy Jeff on Future Flavas

Jazzy Jeff live on Marley Marl's Future Flavas show when it was broadcasting on Power 105. This is from a CD I picked up in Camden around 2000-2001.
