More 90s Beat Junkie mixtape action. I'm guessing this is from early '97 as J Rocc's side seems to feature joints from '96 but Rhettmatic has a few '97 bits on his half.

Big Daddy magazine "Vol 1: Off The Ropes" (2001)

Another one I found during last week's CD clear out. This was a compilation given away free with UK rap mag Big Daddy. I'm pretty sure the P Brothers had some involvement with this - they certainly had a hand in the intro - but the Discogs entry credits the magazine's editor George Mahood with compiling the selection of funk, breaks and US and UK Hip Hop...

Total Eclipse & Mista Sinista'X Men Xtravaganza' (1996)

Dope tape from 96 by 2 members of the infamous X Men crew (later to be know as The X-Ecutioners). Nicely mixed and they don't overdo the cuts and juggles. Expect some Mobb Deep, Big Noyd, Foxy Brown, Lil Kim, Wu Tang and whatever else was popping off back then...
