Black Rob ft The LOX 'Can I Live' unreleased version (1999)

What you know about an alternative version of one of Bad Boy's finest moments with a different Black Rob verse? Hopefully the answer to that question is a blank stare and not "its on the Japanese import of 'Life Story'" because as far as I know this has never been put out there before.



BR's verse on the album version is a personal favourite of mine (especially that "my night time prowess in grimey after-hours/Karl Kani, Mau Malone wear, Eddie Bauers bit") so I wouldnt say this is necessarily better but I know The Internet is always down to hear some rare unreleased 90s business, so you can add this to the list of shit you done heard here first. If anyone knows the background on this get at me. I did tweet Rob about it but havent heard back as yet.

I'm still here but links are getting deaded as fast as I can re-up. My radio schedule has switched up so hopefully that'll free up a bit more other time for other endeavours. I did consider starting up a new site but it seemed a shame to abandon this completely. Anyway, I'm gonna drop something shortly and see what happens from there...

Last night's show on Kane FM. DJ Dough & Porge One definitely did the damn thing with their 30 minute guest mix. Lots of new music on this one and I run through a nice selection of 97/98 classics to finish things off.

I'm probably gonna start re-upping old links and dropping some new tape and vinyl rips in the next few weeks so stay tuned.

Mediafire are fucking cunts

As suspected, my account got locked. Some dude called Billy who claimed to be representing 20th Century Fox contacted Mediafire and asked they remove a Redman & Method Man freestyle recorded off BBC Radio 1 in 1999. As with previous takedown requests, Mediafire cant actually be fucked to investigate whether the claim holds any weight, so they do as they're told, issue me with my '3rd strike' and lock the account without warning.
As a result, you wont be able to download most of the material on this site, despite the fact that I'd guess 95% of it isn't commercially available.
I might get round to re-upping it on Sendspace or Zippyshare at some point but with 432 posts to get through, thats obviously going to take a lot of time.
